“Well, that was a thing,” Crowley said once they were out of earshot. Without talking about it, they were both heading down the field, towards the lake where the photographer (and likely a few more people from the TV crew) was waiting.
“That was a wedding,” Aziraphale replied, surprised at his own annoyance that somebody called a wedding a ‘thing’.
“Yeah, obviously, didn’t miss that part,” Crowley said with a shrug, and waved abruptly in Aziraphale’s general direction. “Neither did you, from the looks of it, since you’re dressed like a wedding bride and everything.”
“Excuse me, I am a—“ Aziraphale stopped himself, and started over.

"He saw whole stories in the rocks—animals from the past, environments that had not existed for millions of years. With his imagination and knowledge, he would return to when there was nothing but water in those places—whole oceans, perhaps beaches, or enchanting places that Crowley could barely imagine—hundreds of millions of years embedded in a single fossil, in a single piece of stone.
Aziraphale looked at the mountains and saw the depths of the sea in them.Crowley loved looking at the valleys that stretched out at his feet when he was on top of peaks; he loved the feeling of being on top of the world. He loved the wind and, now and then, the thrill of hanging from a ledge with only one hand.
He loved the mosses that grew in the shadows of the forests at low altitudes and the lichens that bravely clung to the rocks higher up.
