When Jayce and Viktor were sucked into that stone, it was the most painful experience of their lives. Not just death, but a complete disintegration of the very particles that make up their bodies. Atoms pulled apart, melded together, until they became a part of the universe and all the particles that make it up.
And who knows how long time stretched and space expanded before something finally shifted, the unaware entities finally reconstructed. And just like that, the universe spat them back out.

“Papa Rei, call the ambulance,” Miri urged Rei before shifting her attention again to Kazuki, kneeling by his side and roughly shaking him to get him to wake up with increasing panic. “Papa Kazu! Papa Kazu, wake up! This is not funny! Papa Rei, hurry! Ambulance!”

Summary
Accuracy is everything in the world of assassination. It doesn’t matter what methods you use to stalk your target, how flashy or unsuspecting your weapons are, or your success rate for every mission. A lack of accuracy means missing your mark, endangering your life, and ultimately failing the objective.
The concept has been beaten into Rei since childhood, to the point that it’s become second nature. Muscle memory whips up the gun to eye level, and his brain barely registers the kickback of the shot or the morality of killing people before he moves onto the next target. Shot after shot, the body count increases, and his accuracy continues to climb. He memorizes every bone, every artery, and every neural group that can incapacitate a grown man because accuracy lends to burgeoning experience, and experience outweighs everything.
But now, safe in the confines of their home and bathing in the gentle glow of the television, Rei regrets having too good of a shot.
