Summary
It’s the rainy day that reveals Theo’s fascination with water to Buck. He probably should have noticed sooner, since Theo has been with him for a month. The boy loves bathtime; it has become a large part of their nightly routine. Something about it helps calm him down. Buck just hadn’t connected it to the water until today.
Usually, on days like this, if he’s not working, he’ll stay in. The storm tends to exacerbate the old crush injury and he’s not the biggest fan of rain. Nothing wrong with it. Rain is fine. But no one in LA knows how to drive in it. And after the tsunami and the well and the lightning…well, he’d rather not take his chances.Or, Theo loves the water. Buck has somewhat complicated feelings about water. Unfortunately Theo doesn't care to learn how to swim, but Buck’s going to do what he can to make sure Theo is safe.

Summary
And, fine, maybe Eddie likes it, okay? Maybe keeping up the veneer of his heterosexuality is not as important to him as making sure Buck's hands are on him at all times. Maybe he's a six foot man in his thirties who likes it when his best friend - maybe the love of his life? Eddie's doing extensive studies and the results are coming out with heart eyes - manhandles him a little.
The question is now, of course, what Eddie is going to do about it.
Eddie Diaz wants his best friend to pick him up and maybe throw him around a little. He gets, perhaps, a little crazy about it.

Summary
“Your family is adorable,” she says with a smile, before turning her attention to the drawer to get Eddie’s change.
“Oh,” he breathes, blinking a couple of times, “thank you.”
It’s the only reaction that feels correct. That is his family. Unconventional, maybe, but real in every way that matters.
“How long have you been married?” She asks, finally handing him the change, and his brain comes to a screeching halt as he looks at her properly.
Hailey, as per the name tag pinned next to a little rainbow flag, who can’t be more than a few months older than Chris, thinks he’s married to Buck.
He doesn’t know exactly what to do.
“We’re,” he tries, before clearing his throat, “we’re not married.”

Summary
The problem is, Buck broke the touch barrier. Before, Eddie’s ass existed in his reality as much as a mirage exists in the desert—something to observe at a distance with wonder. He could only dream about what it would be like to kneel at its shore and drink from its waters, but who wouldn’t? He’s thirsty as hell!
But then, Buck actually managed to reach it and discovered it isn’t a mirage, it’s an oasis, and now he’s just supposed to move on?
Buck has always known Eddie has a nice ass, and he is secure enough in his sexuality to let him know as such. It’s no big deal… Until it is.

“I am taking it easy,” Buck argues, unimpressed. “I’m literally in bed.”
“And I’m expecting you to stay there,” Eddie warns, pointing a cautionary finger.
“Only if you're joining me,” Buck bargains, impatiently patting the mattress next to him.
“I've heard that skin-to-skin contact is really good for the brain, makes it release all the feel good chemicals and regulates stress and stuff.”Eddie narrows his eyes, considering. “Sounds like an excuse to get me shirtless.”

Summary
“Is that supposed to be…”
“Us!” Buck says proudly.
Eddie chuckles, smiling down at the drawing. It’s clear Chris went in and sharpened some of the lines. Eddie’d recognize Chris’ art skills anywhere, even when blended with Theo’s.
Then Eddie sees another one of Chris’ contributions and his heart does that stupid fluttery thing it tends to do whenever he’s around Buck lately.
In purple letters just above the two figures’ heads are the words:
Eddie + Buck = <3
OR
Theo draws a picture, Chris helps him out, and Eddie makes a confession. Buck's just along for the ride.
