Summary
Following a foolish yet fruitful dalliance between a betrothed Wild Wolf and a Starry maiden during the Tourney at Harrenhal, to thwart dishonour, a deceitful marriage between the Houses Dayne and Stark was arranged. From which Ashara Dayne and Eddard Stark's love was eventually and tentatively born.
Two years since that night, with a spiteful and boastful admission made by drunken Brandon Stark in front of his Tully wife and his father's vassals, that very deceit has come to haunt Ashara and taunt the honour of Ned.
Straight up angst... lol.
