A soft voice echoed from above you. You watched with wide eyes as a woman with beautiful, gold-white hair and purple eyes. Another sound - this one of surprise - left your mouth when she picked you up, gently shushing you. Her warm smile calmed your mind, even while confused.

Summary
Ten years after the wedding of Rhaenyra and Daemon Targaryen, the ancestral home of the Targaryen family has been flourishing under the leadership and protection of its Lady Paramount and her steadfast Lord Consort.

Summary
Rather as heir, dainty ornaments or even as a pawn for their fathers, there are certain things that are expected of a princess. Certain things that are to be obeyed, to be followed and to be respected. King Jaehaerys Targaryen expected that of his daughters, and expected just as much, if not more from his granddaughters. There were rules, traditions and the simple way of doing things that were to be followed, and Rhaenyra Targaryen managed to avoid each and every one, blissfully sheltered as the only and most cherished daughter of the Spring Prince.
However the gods are not kind and not even her father cannot shelter her forever, not when a succession crisis threatens to undo every last thread of her family's existence.
