His heart has once again hardened, and if anything he's much less receptive to being nice to a family that moves into the Undervale this time around....

When Abaddon tries to find a way to go back to his own family, he finds that maybe his heart isn't as closed off as he thought.

~When a priest and his followers check in at the hotel, Abaddon is forced into hiding at the mere sight of the cross around the elderly man's neck, bearing a striking resemblance to the cross worn by the man who sealed his fate those many years ago.~

Summary
He almost doesn't notice the hole in the ground, lost in his thoughts as he is. It's deep, and looks out of place in the forest. More importantly, there's a child in the hole. A very small child, from the looks of it. The child themself looks gaunt and deathly pale, the strange clothes practically hanging off their stick-thin frame.
Nathan crouches down, concern etching itself onto his features. He's barely in the right head-space to look after himself at the moment, let alone anything else, but he can't just leave the poor kid there.
"You ok there, kid? I'm Nathan."OR
Abaddon is not a demon, but a human child raised in a cult, until he's abandoned and found by Nathan. Father-son bonding and healing ensues. Come get it while it's hot!

Summary
Abaddon’s eyes glisten. “You don’t understand,” he pleads, his voice small and shaking. “Please—I’ll behave! I’m sorry! I’ll be—I’ll be good!”
Katherine’s hand trembles as she slips the crucifix over his head, pushing down the guilt she feels. “It’ll only be for a few hours,” she says quietly. “I really didn’t want it to be this way.”
The moment the beads touch his skin, Abaddon cries out to her , a sound that doesn’t belong to a child at all. Katherine forces herself to turn away, heart hammering as she steps out of the attic. She has to remind herself that that isn’t a child, but a spawn of hell in a child’s body.
The door slams shut behind her.

Katherine accidentally curses Abaddon with a crucifix, causing him to grow extremely sick. She’s left with no choice but to do everything she can to save him before it’s too late
