Summary
Castiel is a guardian angel. Not just any regular guardian angel. He is assigned to Problem Cases. Humans who are impossible to save. Humans who inevitably destroy themselves.
His newest assignment is Dean Winchester. Every previous guardian either quit, vanished, or was reassigned. Nobody tells Cas why.
The only warning he receives: “Do not let him remember.”
Cas assumes they’re talking about some cosmic truth. But as he begins to bond with his new charge, he realizes it’s much deeper than that.Bookmarked by Yullyive913

Summary
A witch hits Cas with a curse that leaves him with a physical manifestation of his wings. Dean, the guy who usually kills monsters (and definitely doesn't want to sleep with them), has no idea how to handle an angel who suddenly looks a lot less human.

Summary
Dean can't see Castiel's true form. So it's a kind of a surprise to wake up one morning next to his angel, with an extra weight draped over his body and feathers tickling his chin.

Summary
John started training Dean to hunt when he was 6. First, it was simple self defense techniques, then hand-to-hand combat with knives, before Dean eventually moved onto guns, making his first sawn-off at 7. In all honesty, Dean would much rather drop the weapons all together and fight with what God gave him, - fighting with tools felt wrong in a way he couldn’t explain - but the one time he said as such to his father, he got an incredibly angry lecture from the man about why that was a terrible idea, as well as a few bruises that were difficult to hide at school the next day. He didn’t bring it up again.
Instead, Dean settled for scrapping at school. Whenever he saw a kid picking on another (especially if they were picking on Sam), he’d tackle them to the ground, only stopping his barrage of attacks when the other kid stopped fighting back, or when they were pulled apart. John knew about these fights, but he didn’t care. It wasn’t like they were gonna be in the area for long enough for it to matter, anyway. For 6 years, Dean would continue this routine of training, hunting, fighting, and looking after Sam.
Dean’s training stopped when he was 12.
