If you asked anyone in Will's life they'd say he's moved on, and technically it is true — he's found new friends, had (and loved) a few boyfriends, done things his younger self wouldn't even think possible. Still, it wouldn't be entirely accurate, because that's not how Will sees it: moving on is a "directional" term, it implies the existence of a straight line connecting point A (the past) to point B (the future) that everyone must walk, regardless of what, or who, is left behind.
And this is something Will simply can't accept.
He has learned to live without El because he had to, but that doesn't mean he's moved on from her. Nor that he wants to.
He has learned to live without Mike too. But moving on? Na-ah.

After years of miscommunication and regrets, in the late 90s Mike and Will lose touch for good.

Summary
"Kneel.", Will repeats, sounding sterner than he means to.
Mere seconds later, Mike's brown eyes align with Will's.
He doesn't know what's worse. Mike immediately abiding to his command or the fact that he still barely hovers over Mike despite the latter being on his knees.
Will ignores the fluttering in his stomach.
"I think you begin um-" He hesitates. "You say 'Forgive me, Father, for I have sinned.'"
Will hears Mike swallow.
"Forgive me, Father, for I have sinned.", he whispers.
Will thinks he might faint. He grips the chair, trying to steady himself before he continues to speak.
"Right." He clears his throat. "Now...tell me what's on your mind."
Mike is silent for a while.
"I don't think I've ever been in love with El.", he suddenly blurts out.
"What?"

It is early August 1986. Will and Mike are coerced into renovating an old abandoned church on the edge of town. As the two boys grapple with faith, guilt, and punishment, they wonder whether they will ever be able to forgive each other's sins.

Summary
When the chain arrives in Warriors' Castle Town, it's the middle of the night, and they immediately need an inn big enough to fit all of them.
The only inn that will take them in has bad memories connected to it, but they have to sleep somewhere. And as the innkeeper reminds Warriors of his biggest insecurity, the Captain cannot sleep well. When he wakes up, he feels less comfortable in his body than ever before.
And because Twilight is asleep, for the moment, Warriors is alone.
All alone.

Ravio can never tell when Link has nightmares. There’s no obvious physical sign; no tossing of sheets or thrashing limbs, no groaning or sleepy mumbles to indicate something is wrong.
Even in sleep, Link is all subtle, and unless Ravio is lying right next to Link, he will never notice.
Tonight just happens to be different from the usual nightmare
