This might be the last story I ever tell. Definitely the last story I will ever type on this laptop, as I plan to chuck this cursed device into the nearest pool of acid the very second I send this draft to Calliope for proofreads and erase this whole episode from my memory. Hermes said it would do nothing to destroy any of the actual content on it, as everything is “stored in the Cloud” nowadays, but go for it man, get it out of your system. Lately, everybody’s been telling me to go for it man, get it out of your system. They’ve also been walking on eggshells and keep giving me their therapists’ contact information.
Wow, Apollo, you may be wondering. What is this tale about? Can it really be more traumatic than your six month road trip across America, bound to a pipsqueak slave-master and fighting off such distinguished enemies as real estate tycoons, giant snakes, horse-fuckers, the specters of all your past regrets and/or mistakes, fungal acne and your toxic ex?

Summary
No one knew how it happened, but out of the blue, Gods began disappearing.
The prayers of mortals and demigods went unanswered for a while, until they try to discover the cause, of what had made the gods go silent (again), and if they can... they could try to fix it.The Underworld is in shambles, and the dead may or may not escape and haunt those who'd done them wrong... and those who'd fought bravely on their lives in a futile attempt to prevent another life from being taken.
The Greek, Roman, Egyptian and Norse universes are in danger, and the heroes have no guidance from the missing gods.
They may get them back. May not. But first, the Lord of the Underworld has to go.

Summary
Sunlight flickered over the shadows of the trees, thin scratches of gold growing longer as I summoned and condensed more of the wonderfully loose and gorgeous strings of matter that was Me into a passable, remarkably handsome human form (with all the joints in the correct places, of course). For you see, on the chalky-red rocks I now stood on, by some rising Norman town on the east coast of medieval Ireland, today was the day some ally King they liked was… doing something-or-other (returning, perhaps?), and I would be lying if I said I wasn’t curious as to how these particular – pardon my language – bastards partied.

After yet another crusade meddling about with the medieval Roman Empire, Apollo decides to pay a visit to Ireland out of spite and finds himself significantly more invested (in someone) than he thought he would be.

Summary
When Lester turned himself in with Meg, he had convinced himself he was prepared for every possibility. He'd claim the source of Nero's divinity, destroy it, and kill the god-emperor, then move on to his final enemy. What he was not prepared for was to get forcibly adopted into Nero's Imperial Household.
As he awaits his backup, struggles to think of a way to get the plan back on track, and tries to see how Meg is faring in her own captivity, Lester must now also resist Nero's manipulations. In a true test of his newfound willpower, Lester must resist getting swept right back into the cycle of abuse as Nero pushes him from every angle possible.
