Summary
Every fic in this series is exactly what it says on the tin; it was written and edited in less than 24 hours. Another common thread is all of these were based on ideas I had while bored at work. That's what happens when your job rarely requires you to talk to people.
Also, most if not all of them contain at least one reference joke. I know that about 20 years of Family Guy and more than ten of the Nostalgia Critic has soured a lot of people on reference humor, but I still think that it CAN work when done sparingly as opposed to just machine-gunning you in the face with it and not pretending it's anything more than it is. I don't even really expect laughs from my reference jokes, I just hope people go "Oh, I know what that is."

Summary
Inspired by a random thought during a marathon random re-watch of SF Debris Voyager reviews, A Fire of Devotion (named for a lyric from a Florence + the Machine song*) is about a hypothetical pairing of Seven of Nine and Ensign Samantha Wildman.
* Ironically, the song in question is called "What Kind Of Man." Ironic since the core relationship of the story is about a same-sex relationship between two cisgendered women.
