What Robby didn’t expect to derail his carefully constructed afternoon was a phone call from Kiara, the social worker they worked with when adopting Mel and Dennis. Robby had also worked with her when he adopted Frank twelve years ago, so the two of them go way back.
”Hey Robby,” Kiara says when he answers the call just after he’s dropped Dennis at soccer. ”I hate to call like this, but I need to ask a favor.”
“A favor?” Robby asks, trying to figure out what Kiara might need from him.

Summary
