Summary
Tommy Innes is a talented kid. His teachers know it. His friends know it. He knows it even if he doubts himself a lot.
But his family doesn’t know it.
His brothers, Techno and Wilbur, left when he was eight. That was eight years ago. He’s never seen them since. They never called, never texted, never sent a letter—not that many people did that nowadays. His dad isn’t around. No, he wasn’t dead, he just wasn’t home. Work stuff. Tommy knew that if he wanted to he could do less hours, not go on so many business trips but he also knew his father didn’t want to be around him. He’d known that for years now. So, his family didn’t know.
