Summary
The hug seemed to go on for several full minutes, Thimble’s grip growing tighter and tighter with each passing second, as if she were afraid he’d disappear or grow back to his normal size at any moment.
Occtis chuckled, then wheezed a bit as he spoke in her ear. “You’re lucky I don’t need to breathe.”
“Shut up. You have no idea how long I’ve wanted to do this.”
Occtis and Thimble take a day off for themselves when a mishap leaves him the same size as her.

Summary
A love song. Who the hell was listening to such whimsy, amongst the murderers and the thugs of the Barrel?
(You are, and you’re the cruelest of them all.)
Kaz scowled into the darkness of the room. It’s not like he had much choice, unless he opened the window and shot the singer.---
Most sensible people avoid the Barrel during major celebrations, out of a healthy sense of self-preservation and fondness for their limbs and wallets. Kaz, on the other hand, does not have the luxury of avoiding everyone else's good cheer. What he does have is a useless gang full of teenage idiots, an irritatingly persistent three-legged dog, a few memories he'd rather forget, and a time limit.

Summary
[SPOILERS TO C4E5.]
Occtis is still holding his head up high, but now that they’re in better lighting, Julien realizes he looks a bit unsteady. Nonetheless, the boy's voice is steadfast. “I have some work I need to get done this evening. If you want to stay in this stupid room while that happens, I can’t stop you, but I expect you to be polite about it.”
Deciding the unsteadiness is only to be expected, Julien tries to muddle past it. “What kind of work?”
Occtis’s jaw goes tight. “I… have to start making some adjustments, or else I won’t ‘heal’ properly. Is that going to be a problem for you?”
Julien doesn’t know what he’s supposed to respond to that, so he defaults to setting some parameters. “There’s a sorry excuse for a curtain that you may use as a partition if you desire. I’ll take this bed; that side of the room is all yours to do as you see fit.”
Occtis just stares at him. “You’re… fine with this?”
Julien rolls his eyes. “Yes. I am extremely fucking fine with everything that is happening. Everything is extremely fucking great with me.” He flops down on the nearer of the two beds. “Do what you must.”
“Thank you for being so kind.”
Julien’s eye twitches.
