sophia, an aspiring talent manager struggling to break into the cutthroat LA entertainment scene, sends her best friend dani to an audition for an unknown rnb duo's upcoming music video. dani not only nails the audition, but quickly falls for one half of the duo, rambunctious and charming lead dancer megan.
however, sophia doesn't realize that the other half of this duo is actually her ex-girlfriend, the reclusive songwriter and producer manon bannerman. as sparks fly both on and off-camera for dani and megan, sophia is stuck trying to navigate supporting her best friend while doing her best to avoid the feelings that come up with manon being back in her life.
and even worse— as the songs and their music videos get released week by week, sophia starts to realize that this stupid album was written about her.

Summary

Summary
Haewon, admittedly, was a little bit scared. Not of the girl, exactly, but of the raw, exposed pain she was witnessing. It was a vulnerability she rarely encountered, and it made her feel a strange mix of discomfort and an undeniable pull to help. Her internal alarm bells were clanging, a full-blown symphony of "Stranger danger!" in her head.
The girl suddenly let out a strangled roar into her fists, and a string of truly colorful curses erupted from her lips, words Haewon hadn't even known existed outside of very specific internet forums.
Okay, maybe Haewon was definitely scared of the girl too. Just a little bit. Like, a healthy, self-preservation kind of scared.
or
Lily crashes out over a situationship, and Haewon was the unwilling (a little willing) stranger who helps her through it.
