Summary
Lena is even closer now, nearly face to face, she's a bit taller than Kara but the blonde doesn't care and she points up at her accusingly. “Maybe those people were right about you, you can't love anything but yourself.”
Lena's hand grabs Kara's arm, not forcefully, not even really a good grip, but the contact is enough to make her mouth go a bit dry. The brunette leans down, “They're not,” she says.
Kara eyes narrow and steps closer, the two women's faces are inches apart, "Then prove it.” She yanks her arm back, spins on her heels and walks off toward The Daily Planet, leaving Lena standing alone on the sidewalk. She can feel the brunette watching her as she goes.
