Grace's school plans a Christmas market to raise money for a new playground in the schoolyard. Rachel catches a cold, and the baking weekend with the kids falls short. Grace is devasted, and Charlie cries disappointedly. Danny can't fight the rising pressure that the change of plans causes in his chest. He storms into Steve's office.
"What's wrong, Danny?"
"Houston, we've got a problem."

Judge Wo Fat is searching for the key to wealth and power, though said 'key' is more of a 'lamp'. A beaten, dusty lamp that has lost its shine and may or may not contain a genie. When Prince Daniel goes on an unauthorized walk in the city and gets himself in trouble, Wo Fat seizes the opportunity to use Steve (lowly palace guard and good samaritan) to his advantage. But it all goes wrong when Steve refuses to hand over the lamp and is left trapped inside the Cave of Wonders and now this new 'Prince Steven' has arrived on the scene to win Daniel's hand and he seems awfully familiar...

The Navy taught Steve the way to stay alive at all costs. What the Navy didn't teach Steve was how to ask for help. Long years of sustained combat and crime investigation have left mental scars and physical tiredness. Steve's convinced the best way to face the daily pain is stubbornness and the good old rule: ignore and override. But he hasn't considered Danny in this scenario.

When he comes back, he's on the chubbier side. At first, he's very insecure about it but uh...apparently he's got a "dad bod" thing going on and Danny likes it.
