“That’s simply absurd,” Damon felt his lips moving before he could even stop them, “30 thousand golds? For this?”
As they seemed to share no interests, Kai introduces a game to his roommate. Damon feels no animosity toward the blonde character Kai chose to marry whatsoever.

“Come on, Scrooge,” she said, her tone light. “Let’s see what you got.”
Reluctantly, Damon followed Eva toward the group, the festive lights of the tree casting a warm glow across the room. For a fleeting moment, the cold, harsh realities of their lives felt distant, replaced by the warmth of camaraderie and holiday spirit. As the gift exchange began, Damon watched the scene unfold while sinking into the couch. His eyelids grew heavy, his exhaustion finally catching up with him. Before he realized it, the world around him faded away as he slipped into unconsciousness.
