Summary
Everyone knew that the place you dreamed every night would lead you to your soulmate. It could be the place they met, where they first said 'I love you', where they got engaged, and in a few case where one or both of them died/would die. If the bond was strong enough, one could even share the dream with their soulmate. And Andrew was one of those unlucky few. Now he was stuck with the idiot the universe paired him with every time he closed his eyes. His only escape was ruined thanks to the Exy obsessed auburn haired boy who was too good to be true. But with all the secrets traded between them- maybe it wasn't so bad to have Abram around. Those auburn curls and striking blue eyes helped soothe the irritation that was Abram. Even as things begin to change- a long lost twin brother and a cousin who loves the twins unconditionally for Andrew, and a new city and name for Abram- and as some things stay the same- Mary's heavy-handed actions, and running- Abram and Andrew are constants in each other's lives and Andrew will not let anything change that- not his growing feelings and certainly not Abram's mother. He'd make sure Abram is safe, even if it meant taking his newfound family across the country to get him.

Andrew Joseph Minyard didn't do regrets. But letting Neil in, allowing himself to want, for letting Neil slip through his fingertips- it was the closest he would get to feeling regret. It had been fourteen years since he last saw Neil, since Neil was taken right from under his grasp by his psycho-killer father and lost forever and Andrew had to make peace with that, had to stop expecting Neil to walk through his front door like he had never left. Except, one day, it all but happened. One day, a small kid with horribly cut short platinum blonde hair, striking blue eyes that plagued Andrew's dreams and nightmares, freckles and an achingly familiar horrible fashion sense showed up at his office door with the strangest question. "Are you Andrew Joseph Minyard, yes or no?" The kid asked in a British accent. Andrew could only nod. "Oh good." The kid said, suddenly unsure of themself. "Cause I think you're my dad." What the fuck?

"I need to survive." Neil pointed out. His mom didn't teach him how to run; she spent her whole life teaching him how to survive. It's not his fault both things look the same.
"Give me your back, then" The blond growled "Let me keep you safe"
Neil looked down at his own hands. He shouldn't accept it; his mother would come back from the dead just to kill him; his father would destroy the life Andrew had built for himself. Neil really, really shouldn't do it. It would be insane.
"Yes or no, Abram?"

Andrew grows up with his father, a powerful crime lord that faked his death one too many times, and knew Neil since they were kids.
