Summary
Victoria Eaglewater was supposed to be Aideen reincarnated, which means she's supposed to protect the island. However, during a battle against Dark Core and the Dark Riders, things go awry and she finds herself questioning everything she's ever been taught by the ones who hold secrets of the island. But they hold darker secrets that are better locked away. Maybe Sabine wasn't wrong after all, and maybe Anne is right in questioning Fripp and how he runs Jorvik and it's "protectors."
Note: This is canon-divergent and is filled with headcanon's along with actual lore for the game. Please read all the tags carefully so you're not surprised along the way. This story has also been rewritten from it's original release on my Wattpad account and has been better edited to make more sense and flow better.
This also does not have any relation to my Life on Jorvik series which may feature the same names and player character.

Summary
Natasha was the protective one, and would kill anyone who touched her friends. Sam was the one who would rush to help someone the second they got hurt, grabbing ice or whatever else they needed to help heal. Bucky, like Natasha was also a protective one, but he kept the bullies away from their group of misfits. Wanda however was the whip smart one who would curse the people (and sometimes coaches) she didn’t like in Russian. Finally, Steve was the group’s cheerleader. He would rotate between his friends, cheering a different one on each day.

A couple of hours later, Wolf crashed down in a village that was within the borders of the Kingdom of Sand. The pain in his wing had increased and he couldn’t keep flying forever. As he crashed, several Sandwings stared at him in either shock or curiosity. For several moments, no one moved, not even Wolf. Finally, one Sandwing started pushing the others aside, making her way over to Wolf. She had light yellow-brown scales with brown speckles around her eyes and across her wings. She stared down at Wolf silently before sitting beside him. He looked up at her, grateful that her body was shielding the sun, panting heavily.

Summary
That seems to be the thing that breaks the ice between them; Bucky's never really hung out with Sam before, past being jammed into a too-small car for six hours and then two uncomfortable months in a safehouse trying not to get on each other’s last nerve. Now they’re getting lunch or coffee every few days. Sam falls asleep on Bucky’s couch three more times. Bucky joins him and Steve a couple of times on their morning run.
He doesn’t notice, is the thing; doesn’t notice how ever since Sam slept on his couch that night he’s been letting Bucky closer bit by bit, that as Bucky’s been wondering about the boundaries and structures of friendship, Sam’s been drawing in.
