Summary
Season 2 of Squid Game as told from the frontman's perspective. He finds himself increasingly interested in Gi-hun, almost obsessive. Will his focus shift from his intended reason for joining the games?
I have stayed mostly canon so far but have taken creative liberties for the sake of the ship. But because season three isn't out, this will not have a canon ending.

Summary
“Why did you not kill me, then?” He whispers, and In-ho is delighted to hear fury lacing his voice. He wants that anger, that emotion.
“I could never kill you.” he admits, truthfully.
There’s a beat. In-ho must have let too much slip because Gi-hun regards him with a look he’s never seen before.
“Why?” He asks, and the unsaid answer lingers in the air.
OR
Post episode 7, In-ho and Gi-hun have a talk. Things escalate, secrets are revealed, and In-ho’s very expensive whisky is spilled all over the floor.

Hwang In-ho stared at the square mask. None of the others noticed the look of intent in his gaze, and the almost-imperceptible shake of his head.
The soldier inserted the key into the lock and twisted it. There was a snap. He pulled away the piece of broken metal and held it up.
“The key has broken in the lock,” he said matter-of-factly. “Players 456 and 001 will have to remain shackled. I’m sorry.”

Summary
After the soldiers took back control, In-ho capturing Gi-hun and killing Jung-bae, things turned a tad more complicated than In-ho thought.
Or, In-ho continued battling his own feelings and Gi-hun did something deadly.
