Ilya loosened his grip in Shane’s hair. “I-”
“Not- f-fucking yours.”
Despite the fog behind his eyes, Shane sounds frustrated. Furious, even. Ilya feels several emotions, one after the other, wash over him like waves. Confusion. Anger. Hurt. Confusion again. Finally, realization.
He inhales sharply, wrapping one hand tightly in the hair near the base of Shane’s neck and pulling back. He’s met with a deep moan.
OR: Shane tries to make Ilya jealous so he'll be mean in bed. It doesn't work. Shane pivots.

He can’t do this. He can’t do any of it. But only one option means keeping TK. If he’s going to suffer either way. If this embryo isn’t just something that can potentially destroy them but something that has already destroyed Carlos, then he picks the option that lets him keep TK, even if TK wants Carlos to pick the option that lets Carlos keep himself.
He could be not pregnant by Tuesday.
It is horrifyingly selfish, he thinks, to choose to bring life into the world for none else than because it would destroy you to watch your partner if you chose the other option. But he’s definitely not the first person who has done that. He wouldn’t be the last.
Or
Carlos finds out he’s pregnant and then pressures himself into staying pregnant. It goes about as well as expected.
