Summary
Louis is a recently turned werewolf that has to move himself and his daughter away from his hometown due to prejudice after he's bitten. He moves to a werewolf-filled town that holds a pack made up of Harry and Liam and their brood, as well as Niall, Nick Grimshaw and his entire crew and lots of extended family members.
A slightly different take on werewolf lore incorporated into a kid!fic with lots of OT4 friendship and Louis experiencing Emotions.

He hadn’t told Rozanov, why would he? They’d exchanged their usual quips in the days leading up to the game, riffing about who would win, how many goals they’d score. But underlying it all was the knowledge that they’d end the night in each other’s arms. Shane refused to admit it, but that might have been part of the reason he was so determined not to get sick. If it was any other game, any other team… It had been four months since he’d seen Rozanov. Four months of convincing himself he would finally end it, while simultaneously counting down the days until they would see each other again-- until this game. “Hollander.” Shane’s head snaps back to his left. Ilya is much closer, pace slightly hurried. “Come here.” His voice sort of mimics the way one would talk to an animal paralyzed in fight-or-flight. Shane is not sure what to make of that.
He slowly turns his head in the opposite direction, where his vision tunnels on the door for the stairwell. It almost glows like a special item in a video game, like a hint. Without giving himself time to doubt, he bolts.
“Wha- Hollander, what the fuck!” Ilya shouts in audible disbelief, and Shane distinctly hears matching thuds of frantic footsteps behind him; Ilya is chasing after him. Shane runs faster, positively sprinting at this point. He’s the fastest skater in the NHL right now. He can do this. He flings the door open and bounds down the steps two at a time, hitting the walls with each turn of a corner. If he eats shit on this filthy floor and embarrasses himself in front of Ilya, he thinks, he’ll never let himself see the light of day ever again.
or alternatively, in which Shane accidentally sends the text, and Ilya chases after him. Like, actually chases after him.
