For two years, since Obito came back to him, alive; or maybe twenty, back when his left side burned with an eye that he never felt worthy of; or maybe even twenty-eight, when he graduated from the academy and he looked back for the first and last time, blinking at blindingly orange goggles; or maybe it has never belonged to him, fate already pulling his strings before he could draw his first breath.
Or, getting together may be a journey but Obito and Kakashi will get there — eventually. Now, if they could hurry up and do it with less drama Team 7 wouldn't feel the need to push their heads together (which they won't do, for now.)

“Dick,” Wally whispered in the quiet of their room. It was morning, but Wally was always a morning guy; his husband, a nighttime vigilante, was decidedly not. That was evident by the groan he responded with, muffled by Wally’s chest. With a huff, he poked him in the side, extracting an even more annoyed groan from his lover, his tanned, bare skin contorting. In this dawning light, the man damn near glowed gold, his skin glistening with a vague sleep sweat. The covers covered Dick from the waist and down, but his leg was curled around Wally’s own, his entire body clinging to him.
God, he could never complain about sleeping alone again. This was amazing.
“Dick, I need an answer to something.”
