Summary
Several hours ago, he was in heaven, stuck organizing and sending the second coming down to doom humanity. And now none of that mattered; all that he wanted for the past several years was to be in this exact spot with Crowley.
The only difference between now and what he'd been dreaming about since he left was, well, earth.
“As far as I can tell, the entirety of creation is us and this bookshop.” Crowley turned slowly and glanced around the room. “I don’t think you're going to get many customers.”
He was right about that, at least; he probably wouldn't get any more customers. And if this was going the direction he thought it was, he never would have any again.
Or, what if there was an added scene before it all ended? A moment just for them.

Ilya had no idea what to do at that point. He wasn’t embarrassed about the incident, in fact he thought it was hilarious. But Shane on the other hand, in his right mind, thought differently.
Besides, they’ve done so much worse, lots more with people close enough to get caught. But he had been sitting in this man’s living room for hours; hell, he babysat his kids once in a while.
And it wasn’t as bad when he didn’t know Hayden. It had been fun, actually, and the idea of it got Shane really going.
“What? Why would I joke about that? It was soooo good, I mean it lasted like 2 minutes flat because—”
Yeah, they were done.

Ilya sounded completely unfazed, like Shane’s worst nightmare was a random Tuesday afternoon practice.
Shane was not going down this way, he had dignity, and he deserved eye contact while his heart was ripped to shreds.
“Ilya,”
His attempt gained nothing but a grunt from the man in front of him. So he tried again.
“Ilya.”
A hum this time and a small shove with his feet was all he got. Now he was pissed.
“Rozanov!”
“What!” Ilya’s eyes darted between his face and where they were connected at the couch, like that had been what upset Shane, the game of footsie.

They were filled with fear, but determination overshadowed it. Crowley was with him till the end.
“Together.” he agrees with a sad smile.

The sound of a defeated thwump of a book and a sigh flooded through the air. It wasn’t a bone-heavy sigh, nothing out of stress or grief. But a sigh that screamed defeat nonetheless.
“Alright there, angel?” a voice rang through the cluttered cottage, and just the sound of it brought a smile to the man’s lips.
OR: What might happen in 'Season 3' if the writers arent kind to us and make them book characters.

Summary
This story takes place between the time that dark lord Beelzebub and Gabrial went off together to their own life in the stars and before Metatron shows up. (pretend that the whole event never happened, I prefer peace and not earth-shattering heartbreak.)
Aziraphale, was looking at Crowley while he explains how he is currently living in his car and some other big important things that Aziraphale was one hundred percent actually listening to. Okay, maybe he wasn’t listening, but he was very much focusing on the newfound idea that angels and demons can be together without punishment from their higher-ups as it seems.
