Summary
After years of circling each other, the Silverwood was burned out, and everything else remained.
So when Olruggio kindly asked if they could be something more, Qifrey accepting was only natural. For him, it was everything else that was hard: the trauma of the Silverwood, the years of lost experiences, the new scars and the old ones. He never expected to get that far. But when he said he would take back what was stolen from him, he meant all of it—Olruggio included.
Or: the three seasons it took to untangle it all.

Their lips broke apart and Qifrey heard himself whining, a high noise he would probably be embarrassed about if it weren’t for how wonderful Olruggio felt beneath him. If he had the presence of mind to even be embarrassed.
“Look at you,” Olly whispered, one hand hot on his hip, guiding him to grind down and press them together. “Always wanted you.”

Summary
Olruggio’s heart is pounding hard, so much he fears it might burst out of his chest. Usually, the reasons behind something like that are either strenuous physical activity or a stressful deadline, but, right now, he can’t quite blame it on any of those.
It’s Qifrey, pressed up flush against him in a narrow alleyway.Or: Qifrey keeps everyone at arms' length, even during sex. Olruggio tries to bridge the gap anyway.
