He turns his head slightly and locks eyes with her, and suddenly every Cetran voice in the life stream begins to wail. The planet screams CALAMITY! DANGER! THREAT! Her ancestors join the chant, voices clamoring to be heard. It makes her cover her ears, head pounding.
Above all the voices, for the first time in a long, long time, she hears her mama. Protect him. Take care of him. Prevent him from becoming the Calamity's heir. Please Aerith. Her voice fades, soothing and calming.
The boy walks away, the voices disappear with him.
Family. She thinks. He will be family.

Summary
Bee sticks out her tongue at the word “charge,” but she leaves with a simple “see you later!” She gets up one moment and is gone the next. Something tells Harvey she won't stop working on her farm to allow her wound to heal, a thought that makes him shake his head. He glances at the now dirty floor, sighs, and gets ready to mop it all over again.
(The new farmer reminds Harvey of him. Grief flows through his body again as he scrubs the white tiles, and Harvey does his best to ignore it. He has been dead for a long time now. Harvey can't keep seeing ghosts everywhere, seeing him in every one of his patients' faces, in every corner and hallway of his clinic. It's been a long time, but the wound still aches, an unquenchable fire that only diminishes in size, never disappearing or becoming less powerful.)

Sebastian was surrounded by people who cared. He knew this, and yet the only ending to that feeling of depression his mind could conjure up was for him to run away, to escape, to disappear, to just cease to exist. That urge to escape his depressing existence by ending it all - along with all possibilities of a future of happiness, a future of hope. A future where he enjoyed waking up and didn't feel a bitter sense of disappointment every time he opened his eyes.
He knew his mother would cry if she opened the door of his room to her son's dead body hanging from the ceiling.

Grian beat his wings in the rain, ignoring how much of a pain it would be to preen them later.
He had to see whoever was now sitting at his spawn, and listen to their story. He knew what it felt to be in their position, thrown out the Watcher society like unwanted garbage. He wanted to help the now ex-Watcher adjust to becoming a player again.
Grian nearly fell out of the sky when he spotted Taurtis laying in spawn, surrounded by a meadow of roses.
