Summary
Gaara’s fingers were soft and uncalloused. In the rain, he wore no sand armor, and his skin was smooth and wet and warm.
They’d never touched this way, skin to skin. Lee cursed himself; he was in no state to even feel it properly, how Gaara gently untied and unwound the bandages from his better hand. He was deft with it, quick as he unwrapped each individual finger, then spiraled the bandage off Lee’s arm to rest in a dirty pile in the mud.
He kissed his teeth at the sight of the state of Lee’s knuckles.
“You haven’t been caring adequately for your injuries."
Or, five times one of them was hurting, and one time they both found comfort in each other.

"We're rivals," Todoroki says finally, but it sounds more like he's reminding himself than protesting.
"I know."
"This would be complicated."
"It doesn't have to be." Katsuki shifts his weight, leaning against the doorframe. "It's just stress relief. Just two people working off adrenaline after a hard game. It doesn't have to mean anything."
"It doesn't mean anything," Todoroki repeats, like he's testing the words out. Seeing how they feel.
"Nothing at all," Katsuki confirms.

Summary
In the seediest dens, hidden in the darkest corners of the vast lands ruled by Enji Todoroki, it is rumoured that his kingdom is built on a foundation of broken bones and ashes.
Meanwhile, locked deep within the castle, Shoto struggles to maintain the fragile balance that keeps his siblings from sinking completely into misery.
But the king's new order, to send Fuyumi to unknown lands, threatens to destroy what he had managed to build with his broken and trembling hands. Cornered by his father's cruelty and in a desperate attempt to protect Fuyumi, Shoto is forced to speak at the dinner table for the first time in years.
