Summary
The War for Cybertron was never born out of conquest. It was born out of loss.
What began as a revolt became a long shadow stretching to Earth, a blue planet that never asked to become the latest stage for a conflict seemingly without end.
Autobots fighting to protect. Decepticons fighting for power. Every alliance provisional, every ceasefire a question mark. Soldiers, medics, spies, and civilians collide within that narrow margin between duty and mercy.

A refuge becomes a front. A mission becomes a reconing. Between warring factions and silent depts, secrets change hands and old names gather new meanings.
Some truths hide in plain sight. Some wounds look like loyalty. And some sparks, once kindled, refuse to be snuffed out.
This is a story about the things we keep and the things we can't. This is a story about memory, about trust, and the stories they tell themselves to sleep. This is a story about the battles one chooses to fight, and the price of calling it peace.

Summary
You wake up as someone who has nothing left to lose, stranded in an Underground that's slowly dwindling in life. Despite being capable of crossing the barrier, you don't dare to, when you have a personal endeavor and promise in mind.
It's a different story when you're transported into an ideal alternate timeline, where your oath is rendered void. Here, with your various counterparts, you don't appreciate reliving the life of a prisoner-- especially when it's enforced by a reflection of what your Sans could've been.
(OR: In a pacifist timeline, an alternate Sans possessing a human soul appears, risking the newly established peace between humans and monsters. If Classic Sans had hair, he's pretty sure he'd still end up bald.)
