It has been almost a decade since former Jedi Investigator Harry Du Bois woke up on a dirty floor with amnesia, met Detective Kitsuragi, rediscovered how to be a Jedi, got sober, and saved the Princess of Alderaan from kidnapping (not necessarily in that order).
Unfortunately, the Empire has not stood still and while Harry has gotten better the Galaxy has gotten much, much worse.
(or, AU where Obi-Wan refused to leave Tatooine to rescue Leia during Kenobi and the task fell to a reliable Alderaani detective and the only other Jedi whose number Bail had)

Summary
An AU in which the New Mandalorians are the Borg and the Jinn-Kenobi mission to Mandalore went very, very differently. Roughly a year after his initial assimilation, Obi-Wan is finally liberated from the Collective. However, his time as a Borg drone will have a lasting impact beyond just some remaining cybernetics.
(No knowledge of Star Trek required. My Borg originated entirely within the gffa and have no narrative connection to the Trek universe, though I try to keep them fairly accurate to their Trek counterparts in terms of function and inner-workings).

"Buccellati came home with the severity of a summer storm, the clapboard walls shaking and windows shuddering in their fragile frames as he slammed the door behind him. He usually returned from his weekly meeting with the capo in stony silence, this agitation was new. It marred his delicate features in a way Fugo had never seen before.
“You alright, sottocapo?” Fugo asked carefully. He’d never been afraid of Buccellati, wasn’t now, but the tension coiled in his graceful limbs gave him the air of a cornered animal, a caged leopard.
“I’m fine,” Buccellati said, clipped and curt and not at all convincing.
Fugo cocked his head and peered a moment longer before turning back to his verbs. Though he was curious by nature, he was also cautious enough to know better than to poke at a wound someone was clearly trying to hide."Fugo is adjusting to his new life in Passione while he and Buccellati adjust to each other. A shakeup in the organization's hierarchy has Bruno uncharacteristically upset, and tensions come to a head.

Appearing in 2001 Italy they’re faced with a small problem and have to come up with a solution that only the two Joestars most likely to burn down a house making toast could come up with.
In which I take my two favorite Jojos and use the events of EoH as an excuse to get them to interact.
