In the end, Miyuki Kazuya could at least believe there was some semblance of fairness in the world.
After all, if Sawamura Eijun was going to throw Kazuya's entire world out of orbit by giving him chocolates on Valentine's Day, well, it was only fair that'd he'd execute some payback on White Day. He probably hadn't needed to rope all the other catchers (plus Kuramochi) into his plan, but the more, the merrier, right?
Besides, there's nothing like a good old shopping trip among teammates to raise morale and camaraderie... or start unmitigated war. Hopefully the latter. Now all he needed to do was figure out what exactly he was getting for Sawamura, and how to not make it absolutely obvious how much he was crushing on the pitcher. Fun.

There simply must not be any fairness in the world, if Miyuki Kazuya was the only catcher on the team to get any sort of attention on Valentine's Day. So Eijun takes matters into his own pitching hands (and those of a very bored Furuya and a very puzzled Nori) to acknowledge the hard work of every single catcher on the team who allow all of them to pitch their best.
Of course, for as much as he'd wish otherwise on this particular day, that does still include Miyuki. Joy.
