After her coffee, she takes a run and a lap around the swimming pool of the apartment building. She also had breakfast in a small cafe outside the building, one that has a very nice view of the calm morning sea, and the breath of fresh sea air. She brings a book with her, and she makes it halfway through before deciding to go back to her unit to start preparing for the wedding.
She’s been working her back ever since she went to New York, and almost forgot this was the purpose. To have days where she can live slowly, and to put meaning into the small and mundane things in life.
But somehow, in some ways… Jo still feels as though it isn’t enough. Something’s not here.
