Summary
This is essentially a fake dating/undercover dating plot story between bucky and you (the reader). This takes place technically after Civil War, and the villain is in the comics known as Madame Hydra (Ophelia Sarkissian). I have edited her though and she is know just someone who believes that hydra should have never ended and essentially booted it back up after the events of Winter Solider and Age of Ultron. This is my first piece here on AO3 so please don't judge it too harshly, although constructive criticism is always welcome in the comments! This is also a completely original story that I will be workshopping along the way, but I will try to post at least once or twice a week. I hope You enjoy!

At Hydra, after being severely wounded on the field, The Winter Soldier's life is saved by the least expected person, Alexander Pierce's daughter. Being around her starts to change him in surprising and confusing ways.
What happens when Bucky meets her years later, now that he is free and working with the Avengers to destroy all traces of Hydra?

Edit, 2025: I wrote that description in 2018 when I first started this and am only now realising it may be just slightly too vague a description. Hindsight, 20/20, so on so forth.
One day, while tucked in a hospital bed after an incident of her own creation (though she will deny it up and down), Steve Rogers allows Nora Joseph to write a letter to his best friend, out on the front lines while painkillers are filling her system. What follows is an exchange of letters that changes the course of Nora & Bucky's lives for good. or bad. who knows? Certainly not them.
