Summary
What really happened during the 18 months the Byers spent living with the Wheelers?
Mike Wheeler seems to have a knack for predicting almost everything. Except for the way he feels about living with his once-childhood-best-friend, Will Byers. Will Byers decided it was time to let his crush on Mike Wheeler die. That is, until the snowball began to turn into an avalanche. This is a story about the first few flakes, if you catch my drift (pun intended;)).
Will be posting updates weekly (ish)

Summary
Mike just had to survive one summer.
One summer of shared rooms.
Shared clothes.
Shared glances.
Shared touches that lasted one heartbeat too long.
How hard could it be?
Will was his best friend. His best friend. Nothing more. Nothing he should want more than that.
No matter what his gut whispered, no matter how his pulse stuttered every time Will smiled at him… that was who Will was. That was who Will had to be.
And nothing—nothing—could be allowed to change that.- Language:

"Is a kiss a possible signal or...start of a...snowball?"
"A kiss isn't a signal nor a snowball." Will frowned immediately, confusion knitting his brows together, his mouth turning down at the corners.
"What is it then?" The question came out quiet, almost afraid of the answer, but needing it desperately anyway.
"An avalanche."

Summary
“Since when do you smoke?”
The words hit Mike like a wall. He sucked in a breath too fast, coughing as the smoke caught in his throat. He bent forward, hand over his mouth, sputtering.
“Shit,” he muttered, his voice coming out low and rough as he wiped his mouth with the back of his hand.
He looked up slowly, and the boy standing in front of him was a version of Will that Mike had not yet gotten used to.
Jesus, when did he start smoking? It felt like a lifetime ago. As he thought about it further, a small realization hit him.
He started smoking the night that Will left for California.
Or
Will moves back from California, and when he and Mike end up living together, they realize how much they’ve both changed, and must figure out how to navigate the tension, awkwardness, and unspoken feelings between them.
