Dave was no stranger to waking up with someone else in his bed, and it certainly wasn’t the first time that it was a colleague. It wasn’t the first time that it was someone that had told him in no uncertain terms this would never happen again. And it wasn’t the first time Dave found himself searching for a regret he knew he should feel, but couldn’t find.
It wasn’t even the first time that there had also been a Santa hat. Although admittedly that was only because of a bet he’d lost with Damien two Christmases ago.
It was, however, the first time he had been quite convinced that Alex was going to kill him.
“Oh, shit.”
Dave and Alex wake up after the Christmas party. It's not the first time, but it's probably the last.
