"Come on, Vox, I don't want to drag you back," Velvette sighs."We have contracts, ones you signed," Val offers.
He looks at the pictures again. "Where's Alastor? There are no pictures of him. If I were going to team up with anyone, it would be him. Not two random nobodies."
"Oooh… Shit… Vox, you both got into a fight. Touch your antenna," Velvette says.
He gives her a look and reaches up to touch them, flinching a bit with the crinkled one. His eyes widening.
"He did that. You both hate each other now. Come on… let's go home." She holds her hand out to him.
He shakes his head, taking a few steps back and zapping off. What time is it? Where would Al be?… he'll know whats going on.

Zooble shrugs. "Life… Things have been weird… Seeing old friends, getting what stuff I had left. It doesn't feel real."
Jax nods. "Ah, yeah, I've been doing… A lot of the same… old friends and such…" He pulls out his phone to scroll through videos again.
"Looking for the others again?" they ask.
"Yeah… You'd think Pomni would change her name on YouTube… I mean… Surely she'd know I'd look for her on it… But nope. No Pomni channels," he sighs and puts it away again.

with only a few weeks left to cure himself of the Kharaa Bacterium Ryley finds his last hope when the Hail Mary crashes onto 4546B and brings Ryland Grace along with it.

Grace takes a breath and glances back at Ryley before slipping in. once Grace is clear of the cyclops, he presses the button on his air bladder. Ryley was right; it shoots him up so fast it's just two seconds of whirlwind bubbles, then he's bouncing on the surface.He gasps and paddles, glancing down to see Ryley swimming up behind him with fins and a scuba mask now on. he wonders if he can get a suit like that to go along with the PDA; his clothes aren't exactly built for swimming.
Ryley surfaces and grabs his hands, tugging him forward to shore as Grace looks around, taking in his very non-Earth surroundings. The plant life is completely foreign to him; even the sounds of the life here are wrong. There's no bird song; instead, there are squeaks and chitters.
His eyes widen. "Where… Where are we?" He asks, turning to Ryley as they get up on shore, their mask and flippers fading with the same blue shimmer as the air bladder formed.
"This," Ryley gestures around, "is 4546B, your new home."

"Hey," Vincent smiles and heads over."Well, don't you look keen," alastor coos as he looks Vincent over. "It suits you well."
"Thanks," he smiles, running his fingers over the lapel. "You look fantastic as always," he compliments back. "But I think I have just the thing to complete the look." He holds out his little gift box.
"Oh?" Alastor tilts his head before taking the box to open it up.
It's a little radio-style lapel pin. "I know it's a bit cheesy," he chuckles, "but it reminded me of you."
Alastor looks at it for a bit. "It's lovely." He finally says, carefully removing it from the box.
He smiles. "I'm glad you think so."
Alastor hands over the gift bag. "Mine is a bit cheesy as well," he notes, putting on the lapel pin as soon as his hands are free.
Inside the bag is a small, wooden cathedral radio that is a dark, almost black blue. The "window" part of the radio carved to look like circling sharks.
"Oh," a little spark jumps from one of his antennas to the other as he gently lifts it out and looks it over.

He's been stranded for God knows how long, the radio probably doesn't even work anymore. He's fucked. Simon knows he's fucked, but he persists. To say that Ryland Grace and Simon of Eden get off on the wrong foot would be the understatement of the century.
Being rescued didn’t miraculously solve all of Simon’s problems. He has a lot to adjust to. Being a fresh amputee, the stars not being dead, aliens being real, living on an alien planet, having a human neighbor who doesn't want to kill him, trusting in this so-called “reality” that’s too good to be true… yeah, no, making friends isn’t a priority. Exiting survival mode is easier said than done. He barely even knows who he is when he’s not fighting tooth and nail.
Grace is doing his best not to get attached to the handsome stranger he helped save. Simon may choose to leave Erid once he’s healed. He’s not so desperate for human company that he’d pursue someone who attacked him in their first-ever interaction. He has a good life here on Erid; he totally doesn’t dream of holding another human being’s hand, or being looked at fondly by someone with eyes, or seeing another person’s smile. He has Rocky and Adrian, who are more than enough family for him.
But who does Simon have, if not Grace?
