Summary
When I first started getting into writing, I tried to make my poems extremely graphic and over-the-top, bc that’s what I thought perfect writing always had to look like
I stopped writing for a while, and realized my mistake when I started again. Trying to sound extra made my writing lose its meaning. The words felt empty. This is smth short and simple that I wrote after that realization
