The ‘Socs’ have been fighting with the ‘Greasers’ for a long time. The Greasers are the “good for nothing ‘troublemakers’” of Tulsa, OK. While the Socs are “stuck up and privileged”. The Socs weren’t doing so well, in regards to their ‘conflict’ with the Greasers. Because of this, they were getting desperate. One day a group of Socs in a Corvair saw a boy leaving the movie theater. The boy was the leader of the Greaser’s brother… Ponyboy Curtis.
