Harry draws in a deep breath and then another. Too uneven to have fallen asleep, the exhale too quick.
“Mmmmm what’s that smell?”
Hermione lets out a small laugh. “I know, I know, the curry’s still out.”
Under her hand, Harry’s head turns toward her, his cheek resting on her thigh, and breaths in deeply again.
“No, it’s not –” Another breath. “Are you wearing perfume? It smells–” another breath, slow and deep “--it smells really good.”
