Summary
It’s the year 2180, two years after the Great War which secured the na’vi’s freedom and drove the humans out once and for all. The planet was saved but a healing wound and despite the Great Mother’s influence there was a clan which had not acknowledged Her. The Mangkwans remained stubborn in their ways. Hostile, cruel and defiant, the worst of whom was their leader Varang.
One day hunting in the forest turned fateful when Neytiri, a widow in mourning, mother of seven, and a tried and true Omatikayan warrior, got a sign from Eywa for the second time in her life. The message was clear:
