Summary
Regulus has lived his life exactly as Sirius had refused to. Although he has resigned himself to it, he can't help but search for meaning in every little thing. He wants to want to get out of here.
When Barty, Evan, and Regulus hear about a spy amongst the Order's ranks, they make it into their own secret little game to find out who it is. When the spy's identity is uncovered, Regulus instantly makes a reckless decision he can't really say he regrets.
Trying to be the hero when he was never meant to be one cannot end well. But maybe it'll all be worth it for having the boy whose smile he could sunbathe in for eternity.
