A smile stretches like incoming danger on Seiji's face. "Sorry, could you repeat that?"
"You heard me perfectly fine and we both know it!" Ah, that petulance of his. The teen Seiji had once known flashes in his memory, all scowls and bent heads and darting eyes. Shuuichi huffs, releasing the tension Seiji effortlessly composes in him. "I think someone I work with is possessed."

He looks back, and feels it, the lingering ache from the morning making itself known. “No,” he says, stepping into the elevator. “No, I don’t think we’ve ever met.”

It’s when he pulls his pants up and tries to make himself look presentable—pasting on the version of himself that’s safe to show—that he realizes something about his fear of heights.

Harua’s brain presses the eject button. The idea is way too far from what she expected. Harua thinks she severely underestimated Maki’s understanding of what a food vlog is. Don’t you just normally grab a small camera, take it with you everywhere, and film yourself trying out different dishes? All her other stuff was like that! And why is she going to be the central focus? No way.
