Summary
In which Eddie is stuck in suburbia with a Steve who mows the garden shirtless and insists on wearing short shorts.
Steve has little red marks on the backs of his heels from old blisters, or something, and above that on the soft flesh of his hairy shin a little black mole. It’s frightening, to know these things about Steve, Eddie doesn’t know what to do with it. He feels like he should tell someone, the gossip rag down at Hawkins High (who are still inexplicably — or perhaps justifiably — interested in Steve Harrington). Steve’s curled up in a chair now, reading glasses on his nose and little frown on his face, reading their bills or taxes or something (Eddie and Robin have been banned by him from getting involved in all of that), heels and moles on display for the whole world to see.
People shouldn’t be allowed to see Steve like this. Someone needs to tell the press. It’s a national concern. His hair is being all… Eddie slams his mug down on the counter and scurries out, slamming the door after himself. Awful.

Summary
Thanks to a bit of snow, Steve finds himself with a broken arm. Not Vecna, not fights with dickheads, he slips and falls and that's what finally lands him in a cast.
Life is a bit of an adjustment so when an eager-to-help Eddie comes over, Steve gets a bit of help getting clean. it's not as humiliating as he thought it would be and even ended with a bit of fun he didn't see coming.
(I'm fairly certain Steve would be able to do an okay job washing his own hair, broken arm or not. We're forgetting that fact, collectively, though to have a Steddie first kiss...in the shower! This was meant to be for a bingo fill but took turns I didn't plan and now it doesn't fill any squares but I'd hate for all the writing to go to waste)

AU. Steve and Robin are best friends and also a figure skating duo that share an apartment while going to the same college. Eddie is a music and theatre college student Steve meets through having a few classes together. Eddie also happens to be a metal musician in Corroded Coffin, a band that’s on the cusp of their big break, and after taking notice of Steve and Robin at a college event, Eddie and Corroded Coffin want to have Steve and Robin skating in a music video.
