Summary
She stepped out from between two oaks, soft-bellied and strong-armed, with a wild mane of auburn hair that caught in the afternoon light like a flame...
To Halsin's half-conscious, wholly-frightened eyes, she looked like nature given flesh, a radiant personification of these woods made manifest. He tried to stand, some animal instinct in the back of his mind still urging him to flee, but he had no strength. When he tried to speak, only a whimper, mortifyingly small, escaped him.
The woman grinned, interest piqued at the sorry sight of him. Her eyes gleamed, wild and insatiable, but unmistakably warm. "Well," she giggled, voice as bright as the morning sun, "what a sorry little sapling I've found in my forest!"
—
After escaping from the Underdark, Halsin is discovered by an ethereal, mysterious woman with secrets as plentiful as wildflowers. He could never have anticipated how this encounter would change his life forever.

She's quite like a rose if you think about it. Easily admirable from a distance, but one step too close and it may draw blood.
