In Wilson’s hand is a pink box, dented slightly in Wilson’s large, unforgiving grip on the sleek cardboard. “Wipe that stupid look off your face! You had lingerie sent to my office?!” he demands, shaking the box out in front of him as if House hadn’t seen the obnoxiously bright item already.
“Had to make sure you got it. And I was half hoping you’d decide to try it on right then and there. That’d be way sexier than whatever you’re doing right now,” House deadpans over the back of the couch.

Summary
Barry leans on the bathroom sink, looking at himself in the mirror. He doesn’t look great; the last two days of stress about his dad coming into town have weighed down on him, giving his eyes a frazzled look and his hands a slight tremor.
Tongue pressing against the inside of his bottom lip, he opens the mirror cabinet, revealing his full container of antipsychotics. Jack had pulled him to the side and given him an earful about them yesterday, voice strict but concerned throughout. Barry was afraid he’d be forced to take them, but Jack had ended his rant with a sigh, handing the container back to him and muttering something about trust.
Barry swallows, grabbing the container and listening to the slight rattle as the pills resettle when he holds it over the sink. Distantly, he hears whispers to flush today’s pills in the toilet and let Jack come to his own conclusions, but he ignores the urge.

Summary
There are many things anyone who spends any small amount of time with Chase will learn about him. He’s egotistical, he’s arrogant, he’s always got the answer. He has the most annoying voicemail on earth.
There are smaller things you can learn, the more time you spend with him. He enjoys history documentaries, likes picking apart every mistake. He can play chess blindfolded. He taps his fingers on his thigh when he’s anxious. He used to wear ear plugs to sleep, but stopped once Douglas kidnapped them for the second time and never got back into the habit. He never accepts food or drink from new people without giving it a quick scan. He always has a bracelet on to play with.
One thing that you can learn pretty quickly, though, is that Chase takes his reading time very seriously.

“Use some company?”
Stanley jumps, stumbling to grab his cigarette before it falls into the slushy grass. The lit end hits his finger, and while he doesn't have too many nerves there anymore, it still smarts, and he lets out a curse as he sees the red mark form.
Fiddleford watches with a mix of exasperation and amusement, closing the door behind him as a gust of wind rushes by. “Sorry t’ startle ya.”
“Eh.” Stan leans his back on the railing, sticking the cig in his mouth to leave it there. “Was lost in my thoughts anyhow. No harm done.”

Summary
He doesn't have it in him to panic at the unfamiliar surroundings, a hand coming up to scratch at his chest. He burrows himself back into his blanket, eyelids already drooping.
It's lighter in the room when he wakes up again. A groan reaches his lips, startling him when it escapes the confines of his throat.
He moves to shift his leg, but a (familiar?) weight bars him from doing so. He lifts his head just enough to blink past blurry vision and see another man laying at the foot of his bunk, his lower body hung off the edge as he snores silently.
See, this is the part where he panics.

Summary
Nearly simultaneously, two thoughts had immediately crossed Aziraphale’s mind the moment their lips had touched.
First: This is mad. This is impossible. Or: this is only possible because Crowley believes that loathsome demon Ferngully (?) to have the photograph. A task he’d very nearly succeeded at, if not for Aziraphale. A task that Aziraphale had been excited to reveal, and now, in a tragic turn of events, it’s the very thing he needs to keep hidden if he wants to continue kissing Crowley.
Which leads him to his second realization: Crowley cannot, under any circumstances, discover the photograph.

Aziraphale’s eyes crack back to him, like a pistol whip. The fixed look enters his gaze again. Crowley stares flatly back. He’s been an apex predator for far longer than Aziraphale ever has. But then Aziraphale wrenches his eyes away and roughly shakes his head. “I really don’t. I—that is to say—she—”
“Who?” Crowley demands furiously. “Michael? Beezlebub?”
“Second.”
Anger bubbles up in Crowley’s chest, but he tamps it down. It can wait. “What did she do?”
“I don’t know, Crowley!” It’s almost like their normal bickering, except Aziraphale is shaking so hard that Crowley can hear his wings rustle. “She said—she—” He squeezes his eyes shut. “‘Fall, or die. The choice is yours’.”
