Summary
It is my belief that Eri should be a Midoriya in canon.
For this, there are several reasons:
1. Izuku gets to be Eri's official big brother.
2. Eri gets to be Izuku's official little sister.
3. Inko is an experienced mother who's only child has left home.
4. Eri deserves to be a Midoriya.
5. Izuku has experience with a dangerous quirk which can help Eri.
6. Eri has control over her quirk in canon so Eraserhead isn't needed.
6a. Eraserhead isn't in the condition to take care of a child.
6b. Eraserhead wouldn't be a good fit to take care of a child.
7. Inko lives close enough to UA in the case of an emergency.
8. Eri gets to stay close to one of her heroes
9. Eri deserves to be a Midoriya.

“I don’t need a god, Kofuku.”
“Maybe,” She says, and it’s clear she doesn’t believe him. “But you need someone.”
And she’s right, he knows she is. “I don’t think I’ll ever have anyone.”
“You will.”
“How do you know?”
“You will,” She says, like it’s a promise.
or: a name is something only a master can give and, despite craving it, he’s decided to renounce the only beings capable of giving him one. he’s lost everything to the gods’ whims too many times to count, and refuses to go through it again. if only the child god would stop making it so damn difficult. yato is reincarnated, clueless, childish, innocent, and— and craves family in the same way he does. they’re not a perfect match, they might never be, but they learn to be a family anyway.
