Stiles, however, isn’t about to let the rampaging alpha werewolf that has been terrorizing him and Scott for the past two months, get away without an explanation.
It turns out that understanding someone can lead to a certain amount of empathy. Empathy combined with a strong desire to save his friend, leads Stiles to make a decision that he wasn’t ever planning on making. Now he just has to stay alive long enough so he can panic about this decision later. Much later, after he determines why it is that Peter smells so good.
