Summary
Olruggio couldn't register anything the whole time Qifrey dusted them off and poured two portions of soup in to each one. He only realized he was staring the whole time Qifrey was serving them soup when two bowls were suddenly placed on wooden table in front of him, both placed in front of their respective creators, and Qifrey once again slipped underneath the blankets currently enveloping both men's backs and shoulders.
Olruggio felt his eyes almost sting at the sight of those bowls, memories flooding into his mind all at once. Sniffling back whatever tears he almost shed, —and if Qifrey saw that, he kept to himself, unable to tease his dearest friend at that moment, enarmored by the sight of Olruggio being emotional— he picked up his spoon as well as whatever courage he had left to look normal and took a spoonful of the soup presented to him.

A sigh escaped Olruggio's lips, and after a moment of hesitation, he spoke. "Tell me."
Tetia's eyes sparkled, and she began speaking like her mouth was on a marathon. "Me and Richeh and Coco and Agott and Master Qifrey, I'll asure you, all wanted to have a night dedicated to manicures! And I, the ever so considerate Tetia, though, since Master Olly's hands are so ugly and rough, we should give him a manicure too!!!" She finally let go of his robes to throw her hands in the air.
Olruggio looked so done. "I don't know if I should be mad about the comment or feel happy about the consideration. But it's still a no."

Ever since the ungodly downpour —though artificial— had started in the early afternoon, it had not once slowed down or stopped. Their date had been postponed due to unfortunate weather conditions.
Postponed would have been the ideal word for it if they hadn't attempted to share dinner in a fancy restaurant despite hearing about the weather broadcast beforehand.
And now, the front door of the fancy penthouse was littered with two drenched men who would definitely be sick with a high fever the following day.
