Summary

Buck couldn’t adopt Theo because of his job and life circumstances, but he tries to be the best father he can be. Theo now lives with his Aunt Felicia and her husband, a fashion designer. Their son Leo, a few years older, has stepped into the role of protective older brother without hesitation. The family moved from New York to Los Angeles about a year ago and settled in well. Everything holds steady until two things happen. First, Tommy shows up and throws Buck into emotional chaos. And then Athena asks Buck for a favor that pulls him into an LAPD undercover operation he never meant to be part of.

Following Buck's exit from the 118 for joining Sal Deluca at the 122, and his eviction from Eddie's house, he's rushed to find a new place, and he finds a new home thanks to Ravi. There's a fixer upper that Ravi needs help with, and in return for his labor, Buck can stay there rent free. He works through the house, and fixes his relationships one room at a time.
