Summary
Scott Goldsmith never knew he could feel. He couldn’t cry. He couldn’t love or fear or hate. At least until him. He was so dumb, it almost made Scott smile. They rarely mentioned his name in their apartment. Shelby and Drift could barely hold their tears in when they did. And Scott felt. Everytime. He felt both the warmth that his life brought and the cold that his death brought. He would reminisce of that warmth every time he went to bed. He would remember the time at the beacon just before he was gone, he would remember his silly comments about being cute and handsome. He would remember his name.

Scott, Shelby, and Drift are visiting Oakhurst again, assuming it will be just like their other yearly trips. But it's not ;)

He pressed himself further back into the corner, a snarl coming to his lips. The eye creatures never reacted to his shouting, but they did hesitate when he growled. But when the lanky aliens came around the corner, they didn't so much as look at him. Instead, they were focused on what looked like a stretcher, the kind that ambulances used back on Earth.
Sitting atop it, perfectly still, was another human.
Scar felt his heart stop in his chest. It was impossible. There was no way there was another human on the ship. It had to be a trick of some kind, a robot made to look human, or a statue, or something. This was some sort of experiment, a test to see how he would react to seeing something that looked like his own species.
But they looked so lifelike.

Summary
The Red Kingdom is planning something. The Blue Kingdom has gotten word of the Red Kingdom's Necromancer, Mythical J. Sausage, has made some sort of magic ritual circle. They travel to Red Kingdom to figure out what is happening and potential put a stop to the mage summoning the undead, but somethings go wrong. Certain secrets come to light, and the Kingdoms figure out why Sir Nominal is the most dangerous knight of the Kingdoms.

Summary
There’s no time. His chest burned with every step, a hot striking pain shooting up his legs. He sprinted, fumbling for a potion of swiftness in his emergency bundle. Nom slammed it onto the ground, ignoring the glass of shards scattering around him. A rush of adrenaline coursed through his decaying lungs, running past the circus and closer to the kingdoms.
“Gotta go- gotta warn them.”
It’s still too slow. Why did it feel like nothing happened? Of course, he couldn’t have missed the splash effect, but he swore it hit him.
There! The Rue-bars in sight. He could see the bridge, the arena, but no people at all.
“Anyone?!” He reached the bridge, frantically searching. There were signs of a battle, grass trampled, blood in the air and the smell of gunpowder. “Where-where is everybody?!” The crows squawked uselessly above him. Why was no one here? Nom started heading towards Red, avoiding a large crater when he heard the same gravelly voice.
