Summary
Miles Edgeworth has a realization. Phoenix Wright also has a realization. If there's a significant length of time between these two events, well. No one ever said the course of true love ran smooth.
(Edgeworth thinks they're dating, Phoenix doesn't realize - mostly because they've basically been in unspoken love for so long that nothing really changes, until it does. Nebulously post Dual Destinies.)

In the ranks of hopeless cases, determining whether Phoenix Wright or Miles Edgeworth deserved the top spot was a fiercely contested debate (one described by outsiders as “kind of cute” and “just like an old married couple” and, when polite terms failed them, “gross”).
